Greetings. Another interesting model of Gerard, the J-29 Tunnan. I did not know this plane and it caught my attention.
The design is very good, and my construction is not so much, although I had fun and it is acceptable, some parts do not leave me at all conforma.
Muchos formers, in the fuselage use all but one at the end, in the wings eliminate them and leave only the spar.
The most difficult part is the central section of the fuselage where the train wells go, we must be careful in this part
The wings are closed by the leading edge, with the stringer the alignment is perfect.
What leaves me very satisfied are the wheels, cardboard, a spike, drill and sandpaper make them very round and smooth.
I thank Gerard for his kindness towards me. Thank you all.

I am always glad to see one of Gerard's models being built. I have many of his models and have communicated with him - he has always been very kind and helpful - but have yet actually to complete any of his models.

Your builds are an inspiration. You have done a splendid job on this Swedish Flying Barrel, and I very much appreciate the very systematic presentation of step-by-step images, which are a valuable supplement to Gerard's good instructions.

I look forward to seeing the Spitfire.

Don: I think that showing the assembly process is a great complement to the instructions of any design, both for beginners and experts.I guide me a lot with the boys' threads, they provide invaluable help. The designs of Gerard are great, you just have to do a previous job of interpretation. Gerard is always very friendly and kind and I am very grateful.
Pericles: the site is still online, the last thing I saw is that he was developing the PBY.

Nice Barrel Sergio! From what I've seen on this forum Gerard is clearly an exceptional designer and you've done full justice to this one. The wheels look good, the canopy looks good, everything looks good!
