I had the opportunity to visit the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida during the Blue Angels homecoming show. Here’s one of their displays.

Good job on the model build, look forward to the final product.

Thanks for that! It really is a very pretty aerioplane.

That Pensacola plane is a Sopwith Camel. It and the Hanriot are very similar.

Pensacola Hanriot

But Pensacola DOES have a Hanriot in HD-1 configuration and in the markings of the very airplane that Michael is building, but with the BuNo in place of the "Texas" inscription on the fuselage side: Hanriot HD-1 | National Naval Aviation Museum

I think it is a replica (Gene K will know), but in any event, it is a beautiful airplane.

I have no idea , but after I get back in a couple of weeks, I can check with the museum staff ... if I can find the restoration "expert".

Got the final photos done today. Happy with this lil one. They sure knew how to make pretty aerioplanes back then....

Standard paint brush bristle rigging. Going to keep this one very dry..

Excellent!

When you finally get out of your teeny-tiny obsession, scale that pretty model up to 1/20, get some foam food trays, and make your first Radio Control model!! Should fly a treat, especially given stabilized hardware.
