That is a fascinating read DB. They actually locked the guns in VICES during the second attack and shot down 4 planes!!!

JSC has many other seaplanes in their collection, including a Sunderland, two Blohm & Voss, and a glider that are about the size of the Catalina.

In my opinion this little airplane was not very well designed. The wing, which is like 3" long was in 5 pieces! The fuselage had 2 separate pieces to be added at the bottom for the float surface. The wingtips were separate pieces when they should have been designed right onto the wing with the option to cut them off if you wanted to display them down.

Nice job in a difficult scale MS. Maybe you should try the cargo ship fella- you never know you might find a new interest in ship models. Expand your horizons I say!
