Talking Ryan PT-20 from der Kampfflieger in 1/100

Started this today. When I was a young whippersnapper in the Civil Air Patrol shortly after the Wright's first flight there was one of these sitting disassembled in the corner of the hangar. I used to sit in it and dream of soaring like a bird through the skies.

Nice to see this little gem of an aeroplane getting the attention it deserves. I've been doing some recolours of Bruno's old version that I'll post later today.

One of the beauties of paper is that you no longer have to fear the dreaded carpet monster like pla&*teeq victims. Just print out another.

Today's progress. This is as nice as all the other Roman Vasilyev kits I have done. It even includes a full cockpit interior. Although not much you can see at this size.

Is this more or less US monoplane equivalent of Tiger Moth? That would be very, very small model. Construction seem to allow for a lot of enlargement.

Looking good MS. A bit more involved than the S&P version!

The bane of my existence - wheel spats!! At least these are designed to come together a little easier than others I have done in the past.
