can you graft the actual 1/100 scale nose to it. Bruno has a couple in that scale.

I bought his 'commercial' G model a while back with the idea to do just that Commander. Needless to say it's a much more detailed and accurate one than the 1/300 version with better turrets, rounded engine cowlings and a better 4 piece nose but no landing gear. I dare say the 'F' model he has is of the same quality.
In the end I decided that these versions were best deserving of their own repaints which (if I ever get around to doing them) would go to Ecards that the punters can acquire for a buck.

P-40F Done

Next P-40 is this long-tail 'F' in the colors of the 66th FS, 57th FG MTO ca 1942-43. Again my own mods with the tail, forward fuselage, canopy, wing root fairings and landing gear.

Thanks Curt- one of those builds that turned out better than I'd hoped. The pilot is a variation on the 8th AF figures Bruno posted as a download on his thread a while back.
It's now one of nine P-40 recolors I've completed which will appear on here as they're test built.

When you started posting here we told you that you had a huge talent Garry, and you did not dare to paint borders! Look what you do now, repainted, incredibly perfect constructions. I do not know, but I smell in the not too distant future a design of my own. Magnificent work Garry, very well done!

Very nice P-40! Did you make your pilot out of clay?
