Can you do Thai Nate while you are at it?It has the same camo like one you just posted.

I would be happy to buy any Thai repaints of Japanese planes. Some are simple enough I can make but a lot are not.

Garry -

I haven't been able to find a photograph of the Ki-27b in your Post 270, but Famous Airplanes of the World, No. 29, (July 1991) Type 97 Army Fighter (Sekai no kessakuki, 29, Rikugun 97-shiki sentōki) has a color two-view on Page 4 with the caption: "Ki-27b, 24th Flying Regiment, 2nd Squadron, flown by Captain Yonaga Hyoe, December 1941, Naguilion Airfield, Philippines." [飛行第24 戦隊 - 2 中隊 - 代永兵偉大尉乗機 - 昭和 16 12 - フイリピン ナギリアン飛行場].

People's Poet MS!

Thanks for that info Don.

Karol, I'll see how enthusiastic I am after doing this Japanese Nate. I do like the Ki-27 but after eight recolours I'm sort of getting over it.....

The camo of course the tricky part. Like you say the pattern on the Thai one looks roughly the same so shouldn't be too much of a stretch once the 'paint' is on to save the image before putting any national markings on. Leave it with me Karol.

Rata,
I really hope you will forgive me, but in this thread and in the one where you are explaining your build of the Nate in marvelous detail and expertise, I noted that the blank profile you are using has a flow. Entirely my fault.
You see while removing all the color from the profile, I accidentally brought the wing form in front of the wheel forms. So it looks as if the wheel struts in real do not conform with the wheel struts on the profile as shown here.

Bruno, doesn't matter mate. I noticed it from the very beginning but as the model builds ok I never worried about it. I even used the 'flawed' profile for all my nine repaints!
