This is a Macchi MC 202 Folgore of the 351st Sqn, 51 Stormo. Definitely one of Bruno's better early efforts, the only mods by me was the landing gear.
British plastics firm FROG released this plane in 1/72 during the 1960's and in a later re-release one of the decal/painting options was this one. It was models from this company and Airfix that I grew up on so they'll always have a place in my heart.
I'm working on a repaint of the second FROG kit option as well.
If you like this it will be submitted to Ecards when they get back on deck.

Very nice Macchi.I really like landing gear.It looks so much like Ki-61 and it's no wonder since both used very similar engines and both Japanese and Italian aircraft building ways/concepts were very much the same.
