I must say that the Folgore was the only fighter in numbers that the Regia Aeronauticahad to cope with Allied fighters. The Italian camos are olso some of the most atractive. And the touch of the pilot, nice.

Fantastic MC.202, Garry! Like always, nice clean work.
But I'd like to know one thing. Why did you stop making propeller blades in your planes?

Thanks Pericles and Kacper.
Kacper, I got sick of them breaking off and having to reglue. Now that I put pilots in most of my planes I sort of run with the line that the engine is running with the pilot about to close the canopy and take off.
Which of course sounds much better than admitting that I'm just getting lazy in my old age.

New Model

Just finished this one. It's a repaint of P-51D 474938 'Willit Run?' that is (or was) in the Smithsonian. It flew with the 353rd FG, ETO 1944.
If you like I'll be submitting to Ecards.

Guilty as charged and I didn't get there yet (but it's on horizon). My excuse is "I have better things to do with my precious time".

Very nice P-51.This livery looks a bit familiar.Where did you spotted this?Hasegawa kit? They use to have doubles of popular planes like this.

Thanks Karol.
Actually regards the markings on this one, back in the 90's I had a calendar with aviation related photos for each month. The preserved Smithsonian 'Willit Run?' was one the subjects and I wanted a model of it ever since. I had P-51 plastic kits but could never find any after market decals of this particular bird. Learn to repaint: problem solved!

Another excellent model, Garry!

I remember this one both in the Museum and on the calendar.
