Models like your Ryan were the reason why I got into digital models and recolors.

With some practice and good imagination we can make pretty much any model possible.

Commercial,printed models like are just not profitable enough so DIY often is the only way to go.

Honduras was another export customer for the little Ryan. This country operated 3 STA Specials from 1938. I based my model on Graham Hosking's beautifully restored example that was flying here in Australia (see last pic) before being wrecked in a crash landing in 2016.

Beautiful. One of the Dutch Ryans that survived the war is said to still be flying in Australia. Will have to check the Womack book to get particulars.

This Hondurean one is probably my favorite one here so far. Those Central American and South American countries had pretty interesting markings.
Great job.

You had a lot of work with this recolor. It is so complex!
