The only photo reference I could find on Honduran STA's was Mr Hosking's restored one. I assume it's accurate.

Thanks Sergio. I get your joke Kacper! But it's funny how the simplest and barest models can sometimes be the most appealing.

Change of Pace

In between other builds I've been doing this one. It's Bruno's Fokker D.XXI, a plane that I've always liked. One of his older designs, there's a series of five on his list numbered 181 through 185. This is not technically a repaint as such, but I did add the fuselage number, the little Fokker logo on the fin, wing root fairings and radio mast.
Down the track I'll be posting another Dutch one (orange markings), a Danish one, Finnish and a captured example in German markings.
Hope you like her.

Magnificent, beautiful plane. The Dutch planes had a very nice camouflage, and what you added looks great. Great work Garry. The year has started with everything, these days you see spectacular things. Very well done!

Thanks fellas. Actually had to drag my old airbrush out of storage to put a matt varnish on to tone down the dark, glossy finish of the laser print. That's about as close as I want to go back to painting whole models thanks!

Glad to see one of your New Year's Resolutions is to build nice clean, interesting birds. I have always liked this bird too. Also the PZL gull wing monoplanes.

Very decent job on this Fokker. It's nice to see you want to do something different than those Ryans. I'd be totally bored after building so many of them one by one! It's like watching the same movie over and over again.

Garry always builds nice clean models. Otherwise I'd never ask him for test building some of my recolors.
