So this is a RC-3 SeaBee... I didn't know this aircraft to be honest. I thought it's some kind of jet fighter.
Anyway, nice work. Everything's very clean and I can't see any mistakes. Well done!

Excellent build of this eccentric little seaplane. The SeaBee has just gotta be my third favourite aircraft ever. #1 will always be the Catalina, and #2 the Twin-Bee that was developed from the SeaBee.
I've not seen this model version before though. Would you let me know where it is available from? I am not familiar with Gerard Methorst's work at all.

Thank you Kacper!
John, thank you very much. Gerard's designs are not available, I do not know if I would send it to you if you asked, you would have to communicate with him, he is a member in the forum, gerard1938. He built some of his designs, so when I ask him for one, he sends it to me, because he knows that I will build it and I will not leave it archived waiting. If you wish, try with a PM. |

Excellent job on a Methorst rarity Pér. The 'glass' areas look particularly effective.

RC-3 Alive and Well
Hello Vinalssergio155,
Nicely executed design by Gerard. Your build is exemplary of the type. I also am in the progress of an RC-3 design here. The design was begun in February 2012 and has been on hold since 2015 - the design with rivets became too large for the system I had at that time. I've progressed to an improved system that doesn't blow up when too many rivets are rendered and I am now preparing to begin the design task once again. Best regards, -Gil |
