1/100 P-40N Kittyhawk Mk.IV "Snafu" NEIAF (S&P, PacificWind's Recolors)

Started another aircraft. One of my favorite flying machines of WWII - P-40.
I've recolored Bruno's P-40N into a plane nicknamed "Snafu" from No.120 Squadron(NEIAF), Merauke, Dutch New Guinea, November 1944.
Also added few modifications, including landing gear, antenna and wing root fairings. I'll talk about these details later, when the time comes.

Here's some progress. Fuselage is done.

Continuing my work on P-40N...
Yesterday I made a mistake with that cooling system underside. It should have been attached to the "wings part". So today I had to remove it and attach once again, correctly this time. Thankfully I didn't damage the aircraft.

Here's some new progress. As you can see wings and vertical stabilizer are in their positon. I've also designed wing root fairings. Original model didn't have them so now this Kittyhawk looks much better.

Looks to me like you are just a stone's throw from becoming a designer in your own right young fella.

Little WIP update.

Some of you may have noticed that this P-40 has camouflage a bit higher on the rearmost segment. It was original one done by Bruno and I decided to not touch it. Hope you don't mind.

Anyway, here's the progress:

Information: I've corrected the camouflage on the rearmost part and updated the PDF file.

Nonetheless, I have to finish my "unique" version...

I'll definitely build one more P-40 but in different markings and camouflage. I must have a perfect one in my collection.
