I used some scrap plastic packaging to make a display stand for a Nobi P-51 in 1:48 scale.





The cradles holding the fuselage were made by taking a profile on the aircraft where I wanted to hold it then cutting out the curves. The bend were made by eyeballing.

I do similar Doug. Pinched the idea from Bruno's One Model Per thread. Quick and easy and I've made up a bunch of different size ones for repeated use on different models.

Taking my time to get everything aligned properly. I expect this to be the focus of my display for a while. Now when peeps come over to see my wife almost the first things they ask is "Can we go see what Michael is working on?"
