We have to be a bit careful since some different parts have the same numbers and the instructions call for parts that do not exist on my pre printed kit. But in any case this will be an easy build, so nothing to worry about.

also, the kit has joining strips front and back , but none down the bottom to close up the cylinders and cones of the fuselage. Again, minor issue and I will add the straight pieces.

We will have fun building it.

Exclamation Lets build

As stated, this is a relatively easy and simple model to build. The fuselage cross sections are all round, so you have only cones and cylinders to work with.

However,

there are multiple opening in the fuselage. The landing gear housings are all in the lower fuselage, then you have an inlet, cockpit and air brake openings as well.

I will address the extra work needed around the openings later on.

For now, lets build all the objects that are installed in those openings:

The cockpit

here it is

The seat; I must say that the instructions were not clear as to how the seat goes together, but it came out OK.

and a look with the seat dry fitted in the cockpit.

Very good start. And for me I do not see it so easy, of course, I'm not used to build very elaborate designs. Maxim model that I have printed (photo attached) which download from here, looks very good, and I notice that there are practically binding tabs. I think the designer leaves this to our criteria.

Isaac,

Great start. That cockpit looks pretty good for detailing. Nice artwork too.

Exclamation Other inserts

Build the landing gear bays ( front and aft of the fuselage ) and the speed brake housing.

Exclamation Fuselage

here are the fuselage parts. Note all are circular cross sections, so inserting the bulkheads will be easy and requires no orientation.

Note
there are no glue strips on the axial direction to join the cylinders. However those are straight pieces and you can just make strips and cut to length. This appears common to all of MaksArt designs.

Rounded parts
