2019 F4K phantom revisited
We are well into 2019 and the 1st up build is a re-visit to the F4K phantom.
This was the UK carrier version with upgraded rolls Royce Spey engines and Uk dedicated electronics. I had done this model 2x before, one in a weird blue like color that was finished just for practice and given to my son. The 2nd was previously posted last year. the color was bothering me as were a few details pointed out by Gene K and inspired by Texman's F4E. I recolored the finish to a more darker bluish-grey, attempted to blend the aft fuselage to enclose the after cans a bit more tighter and add the fuel dump pipe. The after hull was split at the aft panel and a bit of overlap tucked in and the outward curve was blended to an inward curve. I'm not completely happy with the blend but it's a start for the next couple of models to be built... the last pics show the color difference...

Wonderful build, Commander.
I like the ordnance added. it makes the plane so much more "powerful" looking. Although I use RGB references for the colors in my designs, they do not always come out (also depending on your printer) as expected.  B

Bruno colors are good. when i convert these to bitmaps to "fiddle with " sometimes the colors seem off. right from the pdf they come out ok.
You turn out superb products, keep them coming and we'll keep building.

Looks excellent CMDR. Good to see a British one too. I'd like to see one of extended nose gear leg versions one day.
