Another Japanese aircraft is done.
Bruno, thanks for letting me do the test-build. It's a great design and although I've found it little tricky in some places, it was a real pleasure to build it.

I'm very glad to have "Judy" in my collection. To my eye, D4Y2 with its Atsuta inline engine was one of the best-looking airplanes of WWII.
With an outcome like this, it is I that must do the thanking.
Well done.
and... thanks again.

I've sent my "Judy" to Ecardmodels. It should appear there soon.
I'm also still waiting for Kearby's Thunderbolt.

But the good news is that the Ki-61-I Hien is already available.

Good to see Judy getting the attention she deserves. And a radial engine version to boot!

Post New aircraft

Thanks.

So far, I do not plan "Judy" with radial engine.
However, I think I've got something new, also with radial engine.
It was a very old Bruno's design so I've upgraded it with landing gear and of course I repainted it as well. This time I thought it would be nice to do weathered surfaces on this plane and I think the result is pretty good.

Anyway, take a look.

EDIT: I noticed that one part is missing(antenna) and there's also one error on engine imitation). They're fixed now. I'll have to print these two parts but when you buy the model, it will have everything on one sheet.

Looks good Kacper.

One point though- and please correct me if I'm wrong- the -3 introduced the 4-blade prop (as on your model), but I'm pretty sure still had the spinner.

According to my sources, -3s and -4s did not have a spinner. Only -1s and -5s had it.
