Ki-84 Hayate - Leyte, Philippines 1944

Time to reveal this mysterious aircraft.
It's a pretty new Bruno's(S&P) design so it had landing gear, wing root fairings and antenna. I didn't have to add any modifications. Just a recoloring work.
Camouflage was found here: Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate

Little advice: When building this plane be careful with everything. Hayate was quite unusual airplane and it's very easy to make some kind of mistake on this model. 1/100 scale brings some simplifications which may be a bit confusing.

Nice subject Kacper. I've got Bruno's 47 Sentai Hayate (the brown one) so this will be a nice contrast.
Any repainters out there brave enough to tackle this one?

I think someone already did this one in paper. Anyway, it's not a difficult subject to repaint.
Maybe I'll make this Ki-84 too but not now. Now I'm thinking about some kind of A6M Zero or P-47 Thunderbolt...

These wing root fairings were the most problematic parts to me. I had tried to attach them like you suggest but they didn't fit this way.

And yes, looks like Bruno's newer models(above 2000th position in his catalogue) have these wing root fairings.

Just a little announcement.
But don't expect it finished in a short time. Give me two weeks.
I hope that unusual camouflage is visible. It was one of my most tedious recolors!
