Thanks, Mike and Olo

In the rudder bottom the petals are always tricky to close. I added an inside tab, in each face. It is visible on the first picture.

You are doing a great work with this model Ricardo.
It was a good choice to build it.

Love the separate control surfaces. Makes it realistic.

The parts look great!

Thanks for the comments
@ Olo - the good thing is that the rudder petals get a bit hidden in the fuselage tail...

Apart from the wheel, the tail section is complete. I used rolled paper for the rudder actuators.

Man that looks great. Love to see your progress.

An interesting variant of the Bf 109 for sure as the "T" stands for Traeger or aircraft carrier.
This aircraft was intended to operate from aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin. The bf 109T was fitted with an arrester hook, catapult spools on the fuselage, and strengthened undercarriage. The wingspan was increased to 11.08 m (36.35 ft). This actually made the wingspan very close to the same size as the current Spitfires. The ailerons were increased in span, as were the slats, and flap travel was increased. It is plain to see this in the pics of the model at the beginning of this thread, that is what caught my eye.

Only 7 were built as the work on the carrier was halted. The rest were built out without the tail hooks and catapult spools and believed to be made into the T-2 version which finished out the order for 70 to be built. It was found that the performance of the T-2 was closely comparable to the E-4/N and, because of its ability to take off and land in shorter distances, these fighters were deployed in Norway on landing strips which were both short and subject to frequent, powerful cross-winds. this one appears to be Herbert Christmann's plane.

I like the choice and it is an interesting plane to say the least.
