Bf 109T-2 / Halinski / 1/33

After a rather long period “off” the aviation section of the forum, I start 2019 with a Bf 109T-2, from Halinski. The model is relatively similar to the Bf 109F-4 (I built a copy in 2009) and I seldom “repeat” subjects. However, this kit has very striking and appealing colors. As expectable on any recent Halinski, the detail level is great. When comparing with the F-4, the T-2 kit introduced separate wing leading edge surfaces and other goodies. As a result, the number of parts increased from 555 on the F-4 to 686 on the T-2. The Bf 109 is a relatively small plane and the publisher managed to squeeze all the colored parts on just 3 pages, as you can see in the kit’s pictures.

The long-span 109! Cool. Good luck with this one.

Thanks for the interest, friends, and welcome aboard
@ Fred - that was the idea

The Bf 109 fuselage is thin but, in the kit, the cockpit has a solid card flat base on which to assemble all the detail.

That's a very promising start Ricardo. When looking at the instrument panel it reminds me of Alzactorini who made a full mock-up of such a panel a few years ago. Good luck, I'll be following you.

Cheers,
Erik
