But if it's British, it should be called Buffalo Mk.I or B-339E.
F2A was an American designation.

The canopy is the after-market part for the Halinski B239. It fits this model without too much difficulty. These after-market canopies are a bit thick in my estimation; adding both the outer and inner canopy frames is problematic as a result. I omitted the inner frames and created an illusion of them by painting the back side of the outer frames before gluing them to the canopy. The interior green can be seen through the clear plastic and looks OK as long as one doesn't get too close!
