F-16A, Yoav Hozmi, 1:33
After the F-100 from IPMS-Austria (designer Walter Schweiger) is in the air, I start with Yoav his Christmas present.
Yoav, thank you again for this great model. Seppi

Frame for central fuselage
Thanks,
Yoav has done another great design here - top level. Yoav, following your advice, I'll leave the line on one side: " In all the jet fighter planes I plan, I make sure that the connections between the parts of the body will be compatible (as much as possible) with those of the real aircraft and some of the panels will be exactly on the connection between the parts. Anyway, on my models, if we remove and cut the outlines, then we also lose some of the outlines that exist in the real plane and also some of the outlines of the panels that sit between the parts." Central fuselage
Instead of the supports (part M) I use tabs for the individual parts of the lower fuselage half.

What an excellent and clean job....well done my friend.
YOAV About the tabs ... In the building instructions, I note that the tabs should be pasted on thin cardboard, and that's why the lower Support Formers are a little bit narrow so they can fit between the thick tabs... I took that into account in the design of the bottom Support Formers . I hope that thin tabs you are using, will not cause you problems adjusting the body parts to the supporting Formers inside. you can look here. YOAV |

Because I planned the model, so if I may, I'll answer.
The tabs are designed to give lateral support to the lower parts of the fuselage, so that assembling them and connecting them to the bottom of the body will be easier and more convenient. YOAV The original tabs(no' M) look like this. And here, with the half-formers between them. I will give Joseph the honor to show how the lower parts look in their final form. |
