H-75 Hawk-Murph's Models

Here is commissioned recolor of P-36 Hawk to export H-75 version used by French Armée de l'Air.Recolor is done by Aaron with some tweeks and details of my imagination.

Recolor is an approximation of H-75 flown by Czechoslovak pilot Alois Vasatko-he shot down 12 aircraft in it and was one of the top scoring aces in defence of France in 1940.Later on he flew with 312 Sqr RAF and died in action in June 1942.

There are few surviving photographs of this H-75 and they are very degraded and unclear (hence the "approximation" part). What's clear is unlike most of H-75 this one was painted in very basic, simple camo pattern.

I have to do some more corrections so final file will be a wee bit different than what's on pictures here.

This model is a very small tribute to all Czechoslovak pilots and ground crews who took part in WW2.IMHO they are not nearly as well known as they should be,so are other pilots of other nations taking part in the conflict.

Wow. Neat build. Aaron really has nailed the accurate 'feel' of the P-36/H-75 series. Always liked those French WWII camo schemes.

Sometimes I think French had some sort of government program for employment of artist painters. They look spectacular but are very hard to duplicate in plastic or paper.
