Dagger and Mirage, FAA in 1/200, by Carlos Ferreira.

Greetings.
I still remember seeing them in the sky of Ezeiza in pairs or squadrons of four making maneuvers weeks before the conflict. These planes were the best thing that my country had at that time although it was not a rival for the Sea Harrier and its AIM9-L.

G8C, (Hunting Group 8) based in Morón, was our air defense squadron equipped with the Mirage lllEA.

The G6C (Group 6 fighter) based in Tandil, was equipped with the IAI M-5 Israeli Dagger, I use it as an attack aircraft and escort of the Super Etendart.

A brief historical review of these aircraft so important in my country, despite being greatly outclassed by a formidable rival, the courage of our pilots is recorded in the story and in the mind of those who lived that time.

Let's go to the papers. The models are from Carlos, in 1/200, and they are great.
Enjoy a lot, I intend to build many more, Carlos gave us an amount that would keep us busy for a long time.
The first, the yellow stripes cost me a little and can barely stop, the blue one was better and the Mirage only took me a few hours.
They are not perfect but they look good.
They were not difficult, although some pieces are very small and fragile.
I thank Carlos infinitely for his generosity.

Inspiring stuff Sergio. I've collected most of Carlos' offerings and one day when other projects are completed I want to sit down and do the sort of thing you've done here.
