Post 1/300 S&P JANET Airlines 737-200

An idea I got from my last visit to Las Vegas (where the fleet flys in and out of) to do a model of the mysterious Alien Airways 737-200. Also known as Alien Airlines and Dreamland Express, but more commonly known as JANET Airlines

Here's the recolor 'build through' and for those interested in one for themselves, one will be available shortly for download in my downloads section.

Interesting 737. Is it me or has that tail fin been somewhat enlarged?

It certainly is a mysterious outfit. It reminds me somewhat of Civil Air Transport/Air America and Southern Air Transport.

Who? Never heard of those. They must not exist!
Never mind that black helicopter hovering over your compound.

The plane in the photo is one of Janet's B737-600s. The 600's have larger tails than the early -100 and -200 series of B737s. The tail was enlarged to improve stability.

Janet no longer flies the B737-200, which had the smaller P&W JT8D engines. Starting with the 300 series, B737s were powered by CFM56s.

Yes I know, I had a bunch of photos saved and I'm afraid I clicked the wrong one to add to the original post, I didn't catch that it was the 600. But my recolor is of the old 737-200 model.
