Albatros DIII - A Prudenziati paper model

Hi everyone,
I post some pics of a my recent job. I think that Zio was a great man and modelers and for a beginner is not easy to realize his models, but I tried. I hope you like and comments are welcome.

You're right: Zio's models (especially his WWI subjects) are tricky for beginners. You did well with this one though. Nice work.

Thanks for your comments! I agree with Rata about difficulties of WWI airplanes. My next project is SM 79 "Sparviero" an italian example of WWII production. It's not easy, but very stimulating. As soon as possibile I will post the results.

I built that same Zio Alby. I filled mine with paper towels so that it would last 30 seconds longer in the hands of the young boy I gave it to.

Excellent, the Zio are great, I think I finish medium, neither easy, nor so difficult. The biplanes and triplanes are more complicated. You have achieved a great result. Very well done! You will have fun with the Sparviero, I built it some years ago, a advice, refueza the wings with a stringer. It is not a small model, the weight towards the wings were falling slowly. At that time was a rookie and was not in any forum.

Very good Albatros!
An idea: if you want to improve your model, harden sewing thread with glue or paint and use it for the interwings wiring.
As a beginner, don't start with this model, but you can place the radio antena of the Sparviero
