Beautiful job, it is great fun to repaint and clean up some of the Fiddlers Green kits. That is a really macho looking plane.

Beautiful job Don. I'm glad you did the green one too.
With those big wheel trouser fairings it was a real product of it's time.

Thanks, gents. It's the first airplane that caught my eye in quite a while, and I really enjoyed the build. It's only the second airplane I've ever built that didn't have machine guns, LOL.

Don

I'm a little late to the party but have to say that you did a nice job on this sleek plane. I've had this one printed and in my pile for years but haven't gotten around to build it (along with a hundred others). Too bad FG didn't design the Altair to complete the Northrop star series, but I don't think it would take much to modify the Gamma.

Thank you, Bob. It will definitely be at the 2019 convention. FG has a big writeup on the Altair, Lockheed Altair | Aircraft | so I think a model was planned at one time. Too bad it never came to fruition.

It does look nice in green, that was a good choice. Hmm, wonder what kind of stick and tissue rubber power model the Gamma would make.
