Those petal type of constructions are very difficult to make. I usually glue the petals one by one and as symmetrical as possible (left side / right side) to avoid skewing.

Good job Kurt, this peculiar looking machine is coming together nicely!

Cheers,
Erik

Hello

@ Kevin : I am thinking about a real chain , but I let it in paper

@ Erik : yes it is very difficult , I am looking lorward how it would be

and further
Now I glue a tab with the reserve ... and extend the bottom

SURPRISE When fitting on the fuselage I noticed that I stuck the front part in the back
Now I cut it off with the razor blade again ...
Of course, the nose fits better in the front again
I cut the extension again
Well, it can sometimes happen

best regards
Kurt

and further

By cutting off the front part, the tabs have been lost in the back, I replace this with a strip of cardboard ... now prepare the back parts ...
... and gluing ... for the dry process, the attachment is fixed with rubber rings

Yours sincerely
Kurt

Those damn petals!

Can you fill it with plaster, sand smooth and paint them to match?

Got to have another method to make it look good

Isaac
