As an aside, it would have been a logical step to join two stipas together side by side with a center wing section housing the flight crew pod at mid level instead of on top.

and if they housed the propeller inside the duct, it would have increased the efficiency as well.

Ah, the beauty of hindsight........

Nice work at this unusual aircraft.

Hello Erik and Isaac,
Thank you for the encouragement

Now glue on the back side first ... then step by step the leading edge ...

Likewise with the second wing part ... then close the front. And now I can just push the wings on the wing bars, fits!
I will stick the wings but only after mounting the chassis, this again because of the handling.

Yours sincerely
Kurt

Now the first view with the wings

Continue with the side rudders ... and immediately grown, and the control cables first glued and dry well

Yours sincerely
Kurt

now on again ...

In the meantime, the wheels are being prepared ... and blackened with ink
The filigree chassis construction attached to the fuselage ... the tiny spur wheel, now let everything dry well.

Yours sincerely
Kurt

Nicely done, Kurt. It looks deceptively simple which means it is going to be much tougher than the average Bear. Thanks for demonstrating the methods I learn a little every time I drop by.

Also, the propeller is very small ... after a good through-drying of the suspension, the Caproni stands on its own feet for the first time

Connect the finished propeller to the engine

Yours sincerely
Kurt

Hello !
it goes into the final ...

Now push the finished wings onto the struts ... and glue them together

The tensions are made of 0.04 mm flower wire, silver-colored and 0.05 mm copper wire ... Finally, the two windscreen discs, the cockpit flap and the jam tube mounted - ready

Now, after 35 construction days with a crafting time of 42 hours, the Caproni Stipa is ready for the maiden flight.

My conclusion is very positive. Initial considerations at studying of a bow have disappeared in air. A praise to the designer, everything fits together perfectly. An all-round successful bow had something else on it.

That was fun !!!

With best regards from Styria
Kurt
