Great work Papermate!
I have a plan to build that Cubana An-2 too but in the original scale, 1/100.

No.3 AN-2 Russia Panda by Murph's Model
No.3 is another AN-2 but by Murph this time with add-ons like rigging and aileron hinges (if they are correctly called). It's an Oddball one recovered from my old hard drive, but basically the same as the new one on Murph's Model webstore. The lower wing of the new kit is simplified into a two-piece construction instead of the previously three.

That is something else.Beautiful AN.
Btw-for some time in entire Soviet block all yellow airplane color was reserved for agricultural airplanes, mostly crop sprayers.I don't know if that's still the case in Russia but AN-2s are definitely still flying and spraying crops in S.America,China,Africa and some other places. |

Thanks for the info and the comments. I used to wonder why did they have warplanes in yellow as it's a good target to shoot at!

Another beautiful job, great job, looks great. Mottled or whatever you call it, is it design-specific or did you do something to it? It looks great.
