Looking good so far.
Didn't know that Bob Johnson had been a B-52 support crewman. He's been pretty low profile since Accurate Miniatures went away.

Taking my time and trying to do this kit justice. Maybe unnecessary but I added backing tabs for the cockpit roof section.

Also of course today life got in the way. Believe it or not we had to chase away wild pigs and coyotes on our little 18 acre farm. Winter in Florida and they get aggressive when they run out of easy stuff to eat.

So far so good.

Edit: Well duhh!. Nobi provided the cockpit top joiner strip. Part 5 and adjacent piece!! Oh well....

Real nice build thread. I like to see how you are connecting all the pieces.
For me, this is a big help. Thanks.

Absolute stunning, My jaw is on the ground now. This BUFF can release with a big help from Michael and his friend Bob. I must to say a BIG thank you for both.

and with a talent recolor, Garry. He will recolor this BUFF to another color scheme with a beautiful nose art. Yes, camo version will coming too. Garry said. :-)

if you want to own your BUFF, feel free to visit https://thaipaperwork.wixsite.com/onlinestore Thank you very much in advance for your support. I really appreciate for every support.

Fear not Nobi about this build- it's in the capable hands of one of your biggest fans mate.

Nobi will be adding the second nose art grey one below to his catalogue: 'Longrangers II' of the 93rd Bomb Sqn out of Barksdale.

As he says I'm going to attempt an early full camo B-52H to add as well. A big and challenging project for me so wish me well and fingers crossed for success.

The last B-52 I built had to have been in the 1960's BC. Probably the old Revell kit. Never had any interest in doing the Monogram 1/72 kit.

Nobi's effort is really neat. It fits so very well. I am looking forward to "downsizing" a few different schemes in the future. A camo one and hopefully an early model aluminum one.

Can't you just see the one with the X-15 hanging form the right wing!??

More progress on the BUFF.

The fit on this kit is just amazing! This nose piece which I have had issues with on other kits just "clicks" into place.

To me this is such a satisfying hobby. I have an "engineering" mind and building stuff like this is great. It takes me away from any troubles I may have. When you learn how malleable that paper is you can do some amazing things with it . As my friend Texman says "Respect the paper".

When things get tight I glue these tabs onto the formers. It gives me something to hold onto to position.

I think Nobi really does a a great job with his formers and joiners.

She's coming along nicely, the front fuselage looks great.

This build give an uncomfortable "plastic" look due to it's paint scheme and how well it was designed... shows how good the Nobi is.
