As promissed, I have made some corrections. Below you can find pics of new wing of version MkIXe. I have also changed some parts of fuselage and added some new details into cockpit. I hope you will like these corerctions and new pics from both versions will follow soon

I have finished wing to Spitfire MkIXc and below you can find also both together for comparison. There is mistake in colour of middle part of the wings which will be corrected, but construction is good. Any comments are welcome.

Looking very good. A touch too shiny for my eyes but that can be affected by monitor calibration (glare) as well as angle.

Hi Mike,

actually paper is semi-gloss and pics were taken without day light, so it might look more shiny

I have finished 1st cockpit which was a bit improved with belts and gunsight. Both planes will have the same cockpit and there isn't any difference.

I have finished Spitfire Mk.IXc in scale 1/48. You can compare with pics on 1st side for all improvements done on this model.
2nd version Mk.IXe will follow soon.

Very nice work.Clear canopy-is that yours or someone is making them?

I don't think I have seen any clear canopies sold for 1:40 or 50 scale aircraft. This on looks really good.
