I have received a preliminary of this repaint by Sir Rata. He has even blurred the camo lines. Truly a work of art....

Unfortunately work commitments have gotten in the way of the build progress but Nobi has just announced kit is now available on his ThaiPaperworks site. He's done a nice cover and the kit presentation is exceptional.

I´ll get a hand on it until March, because as a Pensioneer my money arrives until first of march. I plan to do not a huge recolor but another thing. Thanks Nobi and Rata!!!

I sure hope this means an earlier aluminum bird. Pretty sure the engine pods will need to be changed though.

Nobi has a program for repainters through his site:

I hope an aluminum one is in the future also with an X-15 hanging under the right wing. Maybe? What do you say?

Yes. I agree. I just think this is a redesign as the tail surfaces, tail assy, nose contours and engines are different.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Indeed, the X-15 carrier aircraft were a B-52A (the third one built) and a B-52B (the fifth 'B built) and they had different engines, a different nose, taller tails and a different rear end than the B-52H. There were other minor exterior changes as well.

Mr Pilsworth has an XB-52 in 1/100 here in the downloads that could be used as a basis for earlier BUFFs.

Look like I need to modified H model to early model. Just want a sound check...which model you want next from H?
