Question Spirit of St. Louis

Trying to get my Gson to have an appreciation for Aviation history. Fiddlers Green has what looks to be a pretty nice SOSL. Are there others out there?

There are a couple out there.
Some simple, some a bit more complex.
You can visit this thread for reference:
Spirit of St. Louis (Ryan NYP – NX211) – All the free downloads

For detail, the Canon is the best one

The Peter Zorn Dover version might be a good starting point, with some help from you. https://www.amazon.com/Lindberghs-Sp.../dp/0486270246

Peter Ansoff did a nice job on this one. I have had one as a work-in-progress for a decade.

More info than your grandson can use, but Leif Ohlsson did a research thread on the Spirit: Spirit of St. Louis - some considerations

I also have one in my list somewhere. (but that might be considered as making publicity).

There's a one page model of Lindberg's Ryan available through the Pepakura Gallery. Unusually for Pepakura, it's a pdf, not a pdo.

I haven't built it, but it looks pretty simple. An S&P 1:300 version would, of course, be preferable ... were such a thing available.

Hi Michael. You previously built the wildcat egg plane from the paperfactory site. Here's the link for the SOSL chibi plane: https://ta7080.wixsite.com/paperfactory/s21.

If you're gonna do it in 1/100 then the Scissors & Planes one is just the thing. It's #483 and will cost you a whole buck. Plus I'll wager it even has landing gear.....

OK, OK. I will have to eat cat food for the rest of the month but that is just too good to pass up.

Leave your cat alone,I'm sure there are wild hogs around your parts-they make much better freezer stuffing
