MD-500 Finland-OBP/Murph's Models

A recolor of MD-500 by Aaron as used by Ilmavoimat (Finnish Air Forces).

Rather simple recolor done based on 5 period photos of original from (I guess) 1980s before transfer of MD-500s to Maavoimat (Finnish Land Army).After transfer size of all markings was drastically reduced and hi-vis orange glo removed altogether.Finn MD-500s were never armed and were (and still are) used for training,liaison communication and whatever else brass comes up with.

Recolor was easy,building it in original size was a bit harder.Model send to Aaron has some modifications not seen on pictures here but general idea is just the same.

This is I think my second heli build ever.Interesting experience and I will repeat it with something else.

Bonus-couple of pix of Ryan Firebee.I found used printer in Salvation Army for pennies and this is print on it-yellow turned out pink...oh,well.

Still very interesting model imho.

Edit-both model require weight in nose if build in original size.Screw,fishing weight,nut.Pick your favorite.
