Praga E-51 1/33 scratch build

Dear colleagus, I have been convinced to continue with my 1/33 constructions. As new model I have choosed prototype of Czechoslovak prototype of light multipurpose airplane Praga E-51. You can see that construction is very simillar to Fokker G.1 which 1st prototype flight was in 1937 and Praga was airborne in May 1938. Unfortunatelly as you may know it was too late to save Czechoslovakia from Nazi invasion.
Even if there are not so many pictures and blueprints of this airplane I will try to make it as close to real plane as possible.
In this moment I have almost whole plane in 3D render and I will add cockpit details before printing. Hopefully you will like it:

Best of luck with this project. Good to see something unusual from the underappreciated Czech aero industry. I wish we could see more Avias, Aeros and Letovs.

Very interesting project. I never heard about it so I'll pay attention here.

There was quite a few aircraft of very similar layout designed in those days and pretty much all of major nations tried to employ them. Only one was successful- P-38 Lightning.

I agree with Rata- there were great many Czechoslovak aircraft designed and very few have been put on paper. Letov S-18/218 and Aero C-3 come to mind .

I am glad you are working on the not so popular aircraft types. It makes it interesting to see those models come up.

Good luck in your design and build.

Isaac
