Talking "The Big Stick" B-52H in 1/100 from Nobi

B-52H "The Big Stick" WIP.

Started this Big Mutha today! What a monster! Looking forward to a camo version that I can shrink to 1/300.

Many thanks to Nobi for this kit. It is not exactly my "Cuppa tea" but it will be fabulous hanging from my ceiling.

Stay tuned....

I am awaiting the arrival of mine, and will be watching your thread for tips.

Even at 1/144, this is going to be large at 13 1/4 in long and a wingspan of 15.42 inches.

I may have to do this one in 1/200 just because of space.

Mine arrived today. I'm looking forward to seeing this build (even at 1/300).

I am building this one at 1/100. I will do the camo version in 1/300 or 1/200.

Maybe I need to go back to school and learn to read again...

Thanks,

The whole kit is 30 pages. Nobi has included a great instruction sheet. It also includes a history section. I am proud to say that I orchestrated Nobi's collaboration with Bob Johnson, formerly a designer at of Monogram Models (plasteeq) and a B-52 support crewman on Guam during the "Linebacker" days....

Tonight's update. Fit is remarkable. It just clicks together like a big plasteeq kit....

I once read that the clean version of 'BUFF' was Big Ugly Fat Fella. Big? For sure. Ugly and fat? No way! I think this bird is one of the prettiest and most graceful aircraft ever.

Looking forward to this one MS. Good luck; though with Nobi as it's creator you won't need much of that.
