That's very interesting way of supporting fuselage skin.It reminds me of several (mostly failed ) attempts of model designers to use ship building methods in aircraft.Your way is far easier to do while still effective and (most importantly) a whole lot lighter.

I second need for silver/alu version.

Regarding camo: I read somewhere that camo used on aircraft flying in one range of speed is usually ineffective in other set. Some sets of camo serve purpose of disrupting shape of machine rather than conceal. There is always an issue of weight of paint-lighter shades are usually lighter than darker ones.New paints have different chemical make up to resist fading, reflections, peeling, damage etc.

There are tons of reasons why we don't see much of WW2 type of camo anymore. My favorite-someone gets paid for coming up with new excuses to blow money whether there is a need or not.

Nose section

For those who remember, I had several options for the nose of the model to get the nose of the model as round as possible.
I decided to try only 2 options that I had.

In the end I chose option number 1.

YOAV

I took advantage of the fact that the nose is divided into black and white in four places, so option number 1 with the slots around the part was preferable for me, option number 2 with the petals, a method I do not really like.

I took the part on my palm, wet it a little, and with a round tool at the end, I rounded it round until I got a beautiful round dome.
Then I closed the slots with glue and paste it to the nose of the model.

I present you a short video for illustration

Final result .... Round shaped dome.

Beautiful work, colorful with the blue, you're doing an outstanding job again with both design and art.

Engines

Daily update of the meteor model

As in the model fuselage, here too, to avoid Stitches in the engine bay, I divided the parts in half to hide the Stitches , some of them at the position of the wings and part along the line of the panels along the engine.

YOAV

air intake and exhaust

insert the air intake and the exhaust into the engine

insert the spliter into the air intake

one engine is ready

2 engines are ready to go.

In the next picture we can see from the front look, that even though the engines are the same, the black / white stripes on the opening of the air intakes are for the same direction and not a mirror image of each other ... so it was in the IAF.
