Murph's Models Britten Norman Trilander

Yet another of Aaron Murphy's clever designs. I saw these in operation in the Bahamas about 15 years ago, and almost couldn't believe the audacity of the aircraft design. Putting a big heavy engine up on top of the tail fin felt like an experiment from another age.

The model assembled without any difficulties. Here are some pictures of the finished bird.

Nice work Rob. The Trilander is certainly unusual. I would have thought all that weight added to the back end would cause all sorts of CG problems- hence the long nose I guess.

AURIGNY is channel islands service mainly into southampton airport or was when i was working there for AIR| Uk
