Barnstormer gets a heart
Hispano-Siuza W.4 in 1:33. This is the (mumble mumble)th try to design one in paper. All my other designs were either too difficult to build, or looked like little more than a cubie. OK, there's still a bit of fettling to do before color and texture, but I'm stoked that it a) can be built by a fumble fingered klutz (me); and b) actually looks like an engine.
Hisso in hand, can Doc Dilhoffer be far behind? |

You know what? That is shaping up to be a great result. Nicely done, Sir.

Good looking paper engine.

Funny you should ask
Standard J-1 in 1:33. Major structural elements mocked-up. Skins planned are Doc Dilhoefer Flying Circus, The Great Waldo Pepper, and Jimmy's plane from Thoroughly Modern Millie. Maybe, with a few mods, a USAAC Mail Plane and Jones Orchard. (Hey, gotta get maximum mileage out of the design, right?)
