Beautiful job, Mike! I haven't gotten the nerve to tackle this big bird yet. One suggestion on the thread (for next time). Instead of trying to pull the lines tight, pre-stiffen the thread by running it through your fingers coated with some clear drying glue. Clip one end with a large paper clamp for weight and hang it with another clip from something so the thread will hang vertically. Once dry, thread just needs to be attached at one end to one of the control anchor points and trimmed to length at the other end. They can even be bent over or around pulleys as needed. Thread cables come out nice and straight, with little or no sag. Wish I had some pics, but, alas, no.

Excellent model! Great work with that interior.
I'm also glad to see this iconic aircraft in version from the Indiana Jones Temple of Doom. I have a huge sentiment to these movies.
