Another helicopter with which I have a personal connect. In 1967, the Seawolves supported our battalion with close air support, moral support, the occasional sharing of such delicacies as steak, and, one dark night, an aeromedical evacuation (not a routine operation for gunships).

Nice idea Rick but I'd prefer a UH-1B. Bruno doesn't have a -1C version and I don't have a skill to redesign the engine.
I'm looking for something like this but preferably in a gunship variant(with rocket launchers, without machine guns): http://www.wardrawings.be/Modern/Sit...roquois/p1.jpg Other unarmed -1Bs are welcome too.

Your Air America Huey looks great! And the diorama too.
It seems to me you can keep the 2 bigger parts of the UH-1-B engine. You'll need a new filter. You'll also need a revised tail fin with a wider chord. The rotor blades are a bit longer and wider and you could maybe use the slightly bigger elevators of the UH-1D.

Thanks Carlos.
Before I start a "short-body" Huey, I'll make a Marine UH-1N "Twin Huey" from NAS Whiting Field, Florida 1982. Recolor is finished in 50%. Should be ready tomorrow. I'm recreating this one:

That's a nice twin Huey!
re:UH-1C - I'm actually not sure the rotor blades are longer. Wider? sure 27 inches instead of 21. But I found a source that said the diameter of the UH-1C rotor disc was 48 feet which seems too big as it's the diameter of the longer UH-1D/H. Another source says 44 feet, which in 1:300 would make it the same size as the rotor of Bruno's UH-1B. I'll go with the second one.
