Seeing your work always perfect hurts my eyes. It's amazing the perfection you get.

@ Don / Vinalssergio – you know that perfection is not of this world but we are free to keep trying
As told before, there is no cockpit base plate but there is a top plate. The last pictures show a strong card sandwich. The holes will serve to fix the landing gear. |

The pictures show several assemblies put together. Note the “wires” linking the side panels. Much of the cockpit stuff will use them as supports.

Wow, what a structure. It truly holds up Halinski's reputation for a torrent of formers in each model! I guess you cut them all just inside the black lines? Great work Ricardo!

Thanks Erik and Abir Merlin
@ Erik - right! Continuing with the cockpit assembly. There is no lack of detail and it gets hard to put the last details without demolishing the previous work… |

Beautifully detailed cockpit. So much care taken in the design and of course your wonderful build! I hope that the cockpit lining and outside skin will fit without problems as the structure looks rather fragile. Probably cannot withstand too much force should the skins appear too tight. Halinski tolerances are usually not more than the thickness of a hair....

This is fun to see, I don't recall a build thread on this, cool little plane with early looking cockpit. Nice clean cutting of those side panels, Ricardo, and carefully applied paint. Looking forward to watching this one grow...

@ Erik - I remember having trouble closing both the Mk.IX Spitfire and Brewster Buffalo. It would not be surprising to find the same problem here...
@ Glen - Thanks This Gladiator version has four guns. Two of them are placed inside the cockpit, in the narrow spaces between the structure and the skin. It is a tricky assembly, namely for empty cartridge ducts which pass through the side panels. |

Dang...there you go again! Putting us plastic modelers to shame.
Really lovely build so far. I really look forward to watching your builds. Cheers, Dan |
