Look What Tony Did

I bought the S&P 1/100 Republic P-43 Lancer not long after Bruno released it with the intention of perhaps doing a repaint into one of eight P-43's used by the RAAF during WWII. But now I don't need to do the repaint because out of the blue forum member Tigertony100 sent me this little gem that he'd done himself. Apologies Tony for not building it sooner but here she is at last.

Fanastic work! This is a one of my favorite fighters of WWII. I'm yet to build one too, but in Chinese markings.

Falco I've still got (somewhere) one my attempts of Bruno's 1/1000 airship models that looks like....well I don't know what it looks like but it sure don't look like USS Akron. And that was my third and final go at it. I'll try again one day.

Very nicely done. I have been attempting to put one of these together in 1/48.

I've always liked the P-43, too.

Very nice Garry! P-35/P-43 is one of my favorites fighter planes of USAAC in late 30's.
