One For Mr. Boose

Often when we're about to co-ordinate a strike with our US Navy thread Don will say ''shoot, you're faded''. Apparently it's an old gambling saying that I thought would perhaps be a nickname for an aeroplane. Well it was: a B-29 that I couldn't find enough info on and a B-17G of the 490th Bomb Group out of Eye, Suffolk towards the end of the war.
This model (submitted to downloads for approval) is my next Bruno B-17 repaint and has incorporated some mods with a reshaped chin turret and a more representative Cheyenne tail turret.
Decided to dispense with the 'spinning prop' discs with this one. Let me know what you think on that front.
Next one will be an RAF version.

Thanks. The download has the original pale blue nose transparency as well so the builder can choose.

The RAF one will be FA-712 which was a Fortress III which corresponded primarily with the B-17F.

That's a very clean build of a beautiful plane. Can't wait for the Coastal Command version... (Mostly because I didn't go very far with my repaint).
