Looks like a lovely kit, I'm still learning about the varying quality levels of suppliers- this one looks superb!

You can't go wrong with a model designed by Dave Winfield.

well, we can't ignore the original Harvard kit by Ken Uhrig.
His old handdrawn style and the basic design was what got me started...

this was actually the first Texan model I created and released
(based on the redesigned Harvard I created for Ken)

Thats one of the reasons why I want some photos.
And I'd really like to update that cover.

I did see one other completed build of this model,
but I didn't get the right photos I needed.

I really like the look of the printing on this one though!
This will make a great example.

I'll give you another one to build after this, if you like.

Another update. More porgress with Texan... It's pretty close to the end. Model comes together really nicely, without any issues to notify. The only little problem was my choice of cardboard. As I said before, it shouldn't be that thick.

If we're talking about Harvard, I actually have this aircraft in 1/33 as well. I can't remember if I posted it here but's it's the one from old Maly Modelarz.

About that final pictures... My grandson, Kacper(PacificWind here on Papermodelers), will photograph the finished AT-6. My skill with camera is not as good as his. Anyway, I think you should like the final pics Dave.
Your offer to give me another model after this is very generous and I'd really appreciate it. I've checked your website and I'd be interested in P-51B "Margie Maru", if it's possible of course. I see you need photos for this one too.

This is a very visually attractive color scheme. The cockpit area is also fully visible.

Nice work.

yes please...I'm hoping for a photo that I can use on the cover.
Please take a look at my other covers and judge the aircraft angles.
Maybe take it outside...daylight makes for nice photos...?
I'll need a couple of photos for the store listing too.

My offer stands, but I was hoping you might want to try another Texan or Harvard kit
...one that I don't already have photos of.
I think there are still quite a few that I need photos for.

(Then there are the Texan Air Racers! many of those I have never seen built.)

But... I don't have pics of P51B Margie Maru either.
So I don't mind giving you that one!
However, I warn you, Margie Maru is one of my original Marek redesigns.
It will not build as easily as this Texan kit.
Its a different style of design, and isn't perfect (but then, what kit is?...don't answer that.).

I shouldn't have any problems with that P-51B. To me it doesn't matter how it is designed. I'm in paper models since the late 1950s and after all these years, there's probably no design that could surprise me... I've built not only the planes but also ships, tanks, armored cars and anything else what's related to WW2(mostly). You can see some of my other builds through my profile.

Going back to Texan, today is the last report before the end.

Zenon ...I noticed a couple of things in your last photos.
Before you get too far, I thought it best that I say something...

Looks like you might have the landing gear "doors" in the wrong position?
Maybe upside down?
Its hard to tell from the photo.
...I have attached a photo that shows the correct position.

And, the air intake scoops have a flattened shape that keeps them tucked in tighter to the body.
One is more rectangular than the other, and one has a flat side to fit tight against the cowl.
Yours look almost round, tubular.

...again, I've attached a photo to help.

If I am wrong (about what I see in your photos) ignore my comments...I apologize.
