Beautiful copy of a most neglected aircraft. This fantastic copy reminds me of the ONLY plastic kit of the Skywarrior. It was sold by Revell during the late fifties.

Rareplanes also issued a 1/72 vac-form back in the eighties one of which I still have buried in my old stash. It built into a pretty decent model- IF you were skilled enough to actually successfully build a vac-form.

Yes, but I almost never take into account those Vacuum formed models because they are extremely difficult to build.

revel did have a 1/67 scale plastic version way back. it was also used as a base for the rb66 I think. I had a huge stash of rare planes back in the mid 80's. they were pretty detailed on the surface but needed a lot of sanding to get parts together properly. I built there fury, the gutlass cutlass an argentine pucara and another that escapes me now. thank god for better cottage industries and card models...

Thank's my friends!
I Hope Aaron or Bruno amde a new series of Skyraider for made the versions with another nose and canopy. About plastic kits, Hasegawa release in 2000's a complete series of A-#, before the only kits is a old Revell model (is 1/66 scale) and Rareplanes, vacuoforming (is a old media, and hard to build, but in my times of plastic I love building vacouformings) |

If it wasn't for Rareplanes and Esoteric vacforms my interest in old US Navy yellow wings would probably never have been.
