Don't be too modest.
I'm not an engineer (only a physicist) and my special software is MS Word.
As for the expertise or knowledge, it can be acquired by tackling such an interesting project.
A challenge is always a good way of learning new things.

Thanks for your kind words but I have seen people like Dutch Mr. Cor, Mr. Pilsworth and others who really have the expertise and time to design such complex models like Paper Trade's F-27 or the upcoming DC-4. I can barely handle my PC's mouse so I'm sure it would take me a lot of time which I also don't have. I just prefer to cut and glue paper parts of beautiful card models available whenever I have some free time.
