My 1/33 scale aircraft collection

HI everyone !
It has been a while !
I didn't have a lot's of time for modelling and now it's even worse since I got a dog in february, I'm just in love.

As I did for my 1/100 models this one will be for finished 1/33 scale models.

To start this thread I'll put my newest build which is Dave Winfield's P-51D Mustang « Duchess Arlene » (Tuskegee Airmen) Flown by 1st Lt. Robert W. Williams of the 301st Fighter Squadron, 332nd Fighter Group.
He shoot down 2 german Focke-Wulf Fw 190 during WW2.

I took pictures of every step of the building process, a video should come soon.
During this assembly I was able to try some new processes.
For example, adding cotton to the wings to strengthen them, creating a gun sight using blue-tack.
I also did realistic wheels using Ricleite method (they are made of long and tightly rolled paper strips) very good result evene if some gaps are visible when placed in front of a light source, but for a first time, it's great !

Best regards,
Ronan

Hi everyone and thank you for your kind comments

@Airdave:
Well the kit was very well engineered with many instructions, pictures of the different step, so it was actually very easy

the green was OK on the computer but once printed the color was weird and different, it may come from my printer, so I decided to paint it in olive green.

By the way the method I used is explained in this thread (there are also diagrams and even an excell sheet) from page 5 to 6
Vought SB2U Vindicator - 1/33 - Kartonowa

Best regards,
Ronan
