Here is the SFAN2, a small motor-glider of the blessed time of the Popular Aviation (periof in France, before the second world war when the socialist governement made great effort to help the light aviation to grow for all the people).
Note the registration in Fox-Papa for the homebuild planes in France!
You will find the model to download and historical documents including a very detailed brochure on the Criquet's site here:
S.F.A.N. 2 - NOS BELLES "PLUMES" DU TEMPS PASSE.

What a stunning collection of unusual aircraft. A great way to showcase Criquet's beautiful models.

The next plane is a paper model with an opaque canopy that we will try to make transparent, a sine qua non condition, from my point of view, to play in the same yard as our friends "plasticfans" for the scale bigger than 1/100.
Luckily, the model lends itself well to the operation.
At first, the internal structure is modified to clear the cabin which is then arranged, according to what can be deduced from the documents (4 places on 2 benches, belts, etc ... ).
Then the canopy paper serves as a template for cutting a piece of thick rhodoïd that is folded into shape and glued in place with micro drops of super liquid glue.
The structures are glued in place one after the other. They come from a copy of the canopy printed on sticker paper. To fix everything well; the canopy is varnished with Johnson Klir. The front window, is difficult to shape and put in place.

One of the things I really enjoy about paper/card modelling is the bringing to our attention of previously little known (at least outside of Europe) historical aircraft. The French, like the Czechs and Poles, had an amazing and groundbreaking aviation history. Thanks to the likes of Criquet and Jan, we're getting to see some of this history. Please keep going on this.
