AN-2 Colt

Scissors & Planes 100 Series / Bruno Vanhecke’s Antonov AN-2 Colt.

Uncolored version printed on colored card stock; no edge coloring required.

Printed on Wausau 67 lb. Exact Digital Color Copy Cardstock .

Burnishing:
Burnished parts page face up over a folded paper shop towel.
Due to color card thickness the light table did not show through; markings and lines were not visible on the reverse blank side.

Duplicated engine exhaust after seeing AN-2 Internet photos.

Model Wing span: 6 3/4 inches.

A very logical step; if the airplane´s skin is corrugated, then we must corrugate the paper!
Nice masterwork Bob Penikas!!! I´ve seen that rounded tool before, I think it cames into a set of tools but I can´t find info about it. Very well done, sir. Regards,Tony.
P.S. May I borrow one of your images for my thread?

AN-2 ball burnishing tool

Howdy Tony,

It is a ball burnishing tool. They come in many different sizes and
are found in art supply stores. Of course, you may use my photos.

Nice build, Bob. Unusual craft, I’ve never heard of it.

Super job! Thanks for the heads up on corrugating the wings...…..out of all the different ways that I've tried yours is the best so thanks again and that's a beautiful plane.
